Anthony Nieuwsma
Lead Pastor

Pastor Anthony has been on staff with Grinnell Friends since September 2000.  He receive his Bachelor's Degree from Vennard College in 2001 in the field of Pastoral Ministries with an emphasis in Youth.  In September of 2021, he moved into role of lead pastor.

Anthony and his wife, Rachel, have four children.

Ron Bryan
Pastor of Congregational Care

Ron graduated from Vennard College in 1980 with a Bachelor's Degree and graduated from Barclay College in 2014 with a Masters in Transformational Leadership.   Ron served as Pastor and Superintendent for 36 years  within Iowa Yearly Meeting and taught religion courses at William Penn University for 3 1/2 years.

Ron and his wife, Joyce, have 5 grown children, 16 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

Angie Radcliffe
Director of Music Ministries

Angie has been on staff with Grinnell Friends since March 2022.  She has a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from University of Northern Iowa and a Master’s Degree in Professional School Counseling from Buena Vista University. She also has over 15 years of teaching and counseling experience in Iowa public schools.

Angie, and her husband Rick, have four grown children and eight grandchildren.

Sixta  Hernandez
Office Administrator

Sixta has been on staff since January 2024. She is originally from Puerto Rico and has been living in Grinnell for 17 years. Sixta has two Bachelors degrees in Marketing and Management from the University of Puerto Rico - Metro. She also studied 3 years of Theology with the Assembly of God.  While she was born in PR, at the age of 3, her family moved to Chicago, IL where she grew up, learned and became fully bilingual in English and Spanish. Sixta has knowledge and experience in Office Administration, Project Management and Marketing.

Sixta handles much of our Sunday morning resource preparation, as well as serving as our initial point of contact for Renewed Hope Home Furnishings.
